Hi all,
I'm glad to inform you that there will be two sanctioned competitions in
Italy in the week ends of 22 and 29 april. The location for both events
will be Cervia beach and there will be different prizes for each
competition.
The location is OK, I have already inspected it. The competition field
will be sandy, on the sea side, on a huge beach very near to the hotel
where we are going to stay.
We plan competitions in all disciplines MLI, MLP, 2LI, 2LP, 2LT. So "a
great time is guaranteed for all.
Cervia is easily reached by plane, train or car from everywhere in
Europe (Cervia is located on the adriatic sea cost at 100 km southway from
Venice or
100 km south-eastway from Bologna).
The organizer, Cervia Volante Club, has granted up to 20 free
accommodations (Bed and Breakfast + evening meals) for the competitors
wishing to stay the WHOLE PERIOD (from april 22th to may 1st) and we of
STACK Italy have decided to give them to foreign competitors. The free
accommodation will be given
on a first comes, first served basis.
For those who cannot be freely
accommodated the fee will be around 18,60 euro per day per person
(that seems very reasonable too) including B+B and evening meals.
This accomodation is in rooms with "from 2 to 6 beds" with a toilet +
bathrooms shared between 2 rooms and of course we will try to put stack
pilots in the same rooms.
If you prefer to have a better or more privacy accomodation (for instance a
double room with toilet + bathroom included) you just tell me what you
need and we will find everything for you.
The competition fee is 10 Euro per competition per entity (individual or
pair or team) included insurance and passes.
The competition will be held during Cervia Volante International
Festival and we agreed to give demonstrations when non competing.
The international competition will be open, we are planning to organize
a novice event too, so if some novice foreign competitor wishes we'll be
gladly add him/her to the list of novice pilots.
I'm sorry to inform you that, due to organization problems we haven't
been able to organize the Castiglione Cup. In fact the dates of both
events are overlapping and we had not enough strenght to have two
simultaneous events organized!
